It is typically a two-step process – first, adding a specified amount of water to a mixing container, and then gradually adding the resurfacer powder while stirring continuously until a smooth consistency is achieved.

Then, using a steel trowel or squeegee, spread the resurfacer mixture evenly over the epoxy-coated concrete surface. Work in small sections to ensure a consistent application.
    3. Smooth and Level: After spreading the resurfacer, use a steel trowel or a long-handled squeegee to smooth and level the material. Avoid leaving any thick or thin spots. The resurfacer should be approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.

However, if the epoxy coating is severely compromised, it is advisable to remove it entirely before proceeding with resurfacing.
